A very nice priest of the local Episcopal church sent out this photo. He labeled it:
2008 Beaver Church Office in early April - I found it amusing and so TRUE to Alaskan Springtime! After a few days of 50° temps and snow melting like crazy, we have dropped back to the teens with snow. Am I smiling? Sorta. I'm so ready for warmth and sunshine!

My days have been busy with hospice training and regular work hours. The family is doing well. Ben and Char are home from their vacation to Idaho and Washington. Chloe, their cat, tried her hardest to destroy their home but Katie spent many hours "visiting" and pacifying her.
Life is good.
