Have you ever received a gift and loved it so much you wanted to share it with someone you love? I received this beautiful flower arrangement and was afraid it would freeze (18° out) before I was able to get it home so I headed over to my daughter-in-law's office and "regifted" it to her. They are beautiful aren't they! Well come Friday evening, she shows up at the door with these still beautiful flowers to "regift" them to me! This young woman is the very person that "taught" me that re-gifting is fun and ok to do. This gift has come full circle and now my home is filled with the wonderful scent of fresh flowers! Anyone want me to pass them on to you?!? *smile* I do love flowers!
Thank you Sonia for the most beautiful flowers I've ever received... you are a delightful friend.

The topic of re-gifting brought back a funny memory for me.
My mom gave me this really *weird* purse for my birthday one year. It was round and there was a clock face on the front of the bag. If you wanted, you could take the clock off and hang it on a wall. (I know you're having a hard time imagining this! LOL)
I thought it was strange (and this was normal with my mom, as she was the queen of flea markets and garage sales!), and knew I'd never be caught carrying it in public.
I showed it to my cousin, who had the most quirky tastes in clothing, accessories, etc. and she LOVED it! So I gave it to her.
Wouldn't you know, my cousin and mother were invited to the same baby shower and my cousin carried the bag?! Of course my cousin had to tell my mom that she got the bag from me.
My mom was a little bit hurt at first, until I explained that the purse would never go out in public with me, but with Lynda, the entire world would get to admire it. :)
She was OK with that and my cousin carried it quite often!
Ok Susan...I couldn't get a picture of the "clock purse" to come up in comments but want you to know it's OUT THERE on EBay! When is your birthday again?? *wink*
Oh my gosh - you're right. THIS IS THE PURSE, but mine was GOLD! HAHAHAHA
