Sure Sign of Fall

At 5 a.m. this morning, Molly was baying out the window at this mama moose and 2 calves. At 6 a.m. it was light enough to snap their picture (although not very clear.)
This is a sure sign that winter is just around the corner! We are definitely back in "routine" as Katie has to be to school at 6:30 every morning for French 3. She was able to rearrange her schedule though so she gets out of school at 10:40, free to come home! Makes for plenty of time to study and lay in the sunbeam with Molly!

I stayed up all night to catch the eclipse. The northern lights were spectacular! Shooting stars and satellites were flying through the sky too. What a beautiful night!

I can't wait until the moose visit my yard again. :)

Well, the deer in my yard look awful small compared to this!
