As a grief therapist, I've found that most "unfinished business" concerns expressing or hearing the words that matter the most: "I love you." We torment ourselves for not having expressed our love or not hearing those words from the one who has died. Even if we know we loved and were loved, we want to hear our love expressed.
It's a lesson for all of us to remember - to tell the people in our lives that we love them.
And so... you can sing it to them along with Stevie, you can leave notes around, and you can practice saying it SEVERAL times a day to those you LOVE!!! The more you say it, the easier it is!! And fun too!
