Just Keep Swimming... Just Keep Swimming

Oh! I feel just like Dory! My family joined a local athletic club and they have a great pool! Not to cold... not to hot! But... because of arthritis in my neck I was in PAIN from doing the Freestyle stroke. NOW...I'm very much a funny looking dork with my NEW snorkel, my goggles, and of course, my nose plug. How can one snorkel without your nose plugged!?! I'd put up a picture but you would all laugh!! I'm having so much fun though and with all these contraptions I can "Just Keep Swimming..." with NO neck pain! I love it! I think we are all going tonight. But I'm the only swimmer in the family. I go early early in the morning before work and it's working out great.

Work, on the other hand is very very busy. Hence the lack of posting. I'm right in the middle of a 36 hour training, 2 times a week (+ work.) Tuesday night Dr. Carroll and Dr. Shihadeh taught the class - (local oncologist & radiation oncologist.) Amazing, compassionate men. And so full of knowledge. An article came out in our local paper Tuesday about the uninsured often not receiving quality care or necessary treatment when faced with cancer. Very proud to say...not in THIS town. A patient has never been turned away or refused treatment because of financial difficulty. Again.... I pay tribute to these men and to our Cancer Treatment Center.
