Once I downloaded it and took a closer look and found the busy bumblebee, I was even more amazed. I thought, "What faith!" To be so "on task" in the midst of insurmountable odds; working hard at pollinating this beautiful flower with little hope of any real lasting effect. C'mon, it's winter!
Of course, as God often does, He used this little picture to speak to my heart and remind me not to lose heart when "well doing", that in due season I would reap if I did not faint (Gal 6:9), and that, just like the bumblebee, we are to stay on task "redeeming the time because the days are evil.(Eph 5:16).
Sometimes we just have to ignore circumstances and obstacles and even our own sense of reason (or season) and just "walk out our faith" in obedience, Amen!

This woman has been our *fearless leader* of a group of about 20 women that began meeting for Bible study on the internet in 1998 and we continue to *know* and enjoy each other 9 years later! Her gift of teaching and reaching us through *text* has always been such a blessing to us all. God Bless you Chris.

Saw your blog link on Dottis. I blog on xanga. Beautiful picture and entry to go along with it. I love how the Lord puts people together on the computer. I have been with a group of ladies for about 4 years now, we have done baby showers, ornament exchanges and even a mug exchange. We pray together and help each other through the daily things in life, all with Jesus first. We have formed a very close bond.
Thank you for that powerful reminder during these dark, cold months. *hug* Beautiful photo.
