There's nothing like having 4 days to relax and enjoy family! We've also been watching our grand-kitty Chloe rule the roost while she stays with us. Molly didn't drool... she just CHASED Chloe for the first 2 days! Finally, they both calmed down and Chloe has found her "spot" on top of the table in the living room on the soft blanket Katie gave her.We also had cable tv installed yesterday by one very "sniffly-sick" (but nice) installer. I refused to take the remote he was handing me and asked him to lay it on the shelf. After he left, I used a Purell wipe and cleaned that thing! The funny thing about our new "cable" is that channels 20 and up are not working!! I'm looking forward to the Holiday music channel...although I have 209 Chrismtas songs on my ipod so why do I care!?!
The temps here have been wonderful - 40°! Katie finished putting up the outdoor lights yesterday. This is a FIRST for our home and I know our neighbor across the street (for the last 23 years) who is a Christmas light lover, is thrilled!! Well, I'm off to vacuum and go swimming. Tonight's turkey...Alfredo maybe?
