Short on Daylight

Although we are getting less than 4 hours of daylight now, we do get some beautiful sunrises and sunsets. I'm sharing a beautiful sunset, taken by a great local photographer, Susan Stevenson, at 2:35 p.m., Dec. 6th.
Now's the time of year when you turn up the lights and music and just go on about your day... er um... night! After living up here 30 years I've made the adjustment well to the darkness. The constant daylight in the summer is what causes me more grief because I never can get myself to bed at a decent hour! I'm off to pick my daughter up from the bus and bake some pumpkin, chocolate chip cookies. Hope your Holiday is going well!
