Today I wanted to hit myself with a big club! Today is my FIL's 81st birthday!!! Did I get the cards? Yes, on Saturday afternoon - too late to mail them in time for Monday! Did I get them signed... well sorta, Katie signed and wrote in hers but I forgot to get Rick's signature so signed from both of us.We love Pop SOOO much. He is a *rock* in our family. Always remembering to pray for us and loving us. We haven't seen him in several years. Our next trip WILL be to see him and the rest of our family in California and Arizona.
Well then, I called apologetically to tell him that I was way behind. There's something about licking that envelope, sticking on the stamp, and walking out to the mailbox that is an impossible feat for me. I included pictures of his grandkids and a picture of Ben and Char's new house.
But it's late. I feel so bad! Good intentions aren't good enough.
